Company Description
TAG Galleries is an art promotions company with a physical gallery and print studio in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. Our overarching and twofold aim is to make con- temporary artworks more accessible to the general public and to increase exposure and financial prosperity for artists. We accomplish this aim by leveraging recent and revolutionary advances in imaging and printing technologies to produce extremely high quality reproductions and to market those reproductions at price-points targeted to reach customers of all income levels. We are a full service print studio and produce all fine art reproductions in house. We are vigilant in watching for improvements in technologies and materials to ensure that we produce prints of the highest possible quality. Far more than simply a printer, TAG Galleries is a complete marketing and pro- motions company, dedicated to proactively promoting the artists we work with by bringing the art to our customers through our physical gallery (which will be expanding with additional locations), an ecommerce website, grassroots advertising campaigns, event hosting, partnerships with other retailers, wholesaling and distribution, nationwide vending at festivals, and a variety of other sales outlets.

Our Gallery in Baltimore
Officially opened on June 14th, 2008, TAG Galleries’ physical gallery/retail shop is located in Fell’s Point (Baltimore, MD) right on the main street (732 S Broadway), facing the public square and highly visible. Fell’s Point is one of the cultural centers of Baltimore and is populated by art galleries, clothing shops, furniture stores, restaurants, bars and a variety of other retail shops and boutiques. Fell’s Point is a National Register Historic District, which reflects an 18th and 19th century character through its historic architecture and cobbled stone streets. It is a maritime community located on the waterfront of the Baltimore harbor.

We have an excellent art scene in Baltimore and along the mid-Atlantic coast in general. Baltimore is centered in one of the most densely populated portions of the United States. It is located 37 miles north of Washington D.C., 93 miles south of Philadelphia and 175 miles south of New York City. TAG Galleries is a gateway to the local, national, and international contemporary art scene. With products ranging between $10 and $500 we have something for everyone.

Our events are an exhibition of creativity, combining visual art, music, photography, film, and other creative arts. In addition to monthly events held at our home location, TAG Galleries can be found hosting and participating in shows and festivals around the country. Our art and clothing is designed for anyone seeking unique expression through a creative, active, and positive life.

Our goal is to help artists earn a sustainable living through their creations and contributions to our culture. Proceeds from TAG Galleries sales go back to the creating artists, so each product you purchase puts money back in the pockets of the artists you enjoy.

Art Submission Guidelines
At TAG Galleries, we love to collaborate with artists and enjoy reviewing art submissions. If you’re interested in submitting art samples for review, please send between 8 and 12 digital images (preferably in JPG format) to SubmitArt@TAGgalleries.com. Please include a resume, and cover letter or statement about your work (.pdf or .doc format). If you have an online portfolio or website, you may send a link along with your resume and cover letter.

Our review process takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks. Due to the high volume of submissions, we will not be able to showcase the majority of art submissions, however we are always looking for new ways to support established and emerging artists.
