Born in Chicago and currently living in Baltimore, Jose Irizarry is a
traditional line illustrator and digital artist who specializes in
black and white ink drawings and mixed media.  His influences are
drawn from artists such as Aubrey Beardsley, Egon Schiele, Takashi
Murakami, 80s MTV, and pop art in general.  Mostly self-taught, he
began pursuing an art career in 2005.  He is very much an organic
artist who draws from himself more than the outside world for
inspiration.

He likes to keep his work simple, communicative, colorful if
necessary, and with a dash of wit.
